Ellen DeGeneres Doing Well After Chest Pain Alert

Ellen DeGeneres Doing Well After Chest Pain Alert; earlier this week the TV host called paramedics after feeling severe chest pains. DeGeneres had been feeling and experiencing “tightness and heaviness” in her chest area since Sunday and when the pain did not go away she decided to call 911 for help. DeGeneres decided to make light of the matter during one of her taping of the show.

She was telling audience members, “The paramedics were strippers that I had called. That’s how the orange juiceors got started. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like something was heavy on my chest and it was a cat, so I moved it. I still felt the tightness and heaviness, so there was another cat under that cat. There were two cats on my chest.”

She continued, “It’s better to be safe than sorry. Who doesn’t want to see a fireman occasionally? I want to say thank you to all the paramedics and the nurses who showed up. I appreciate it.” She is absolutely correct in the manner, it’s definitely better to be safe than sorry. If it would have been something extremely serious going on with her chest and she had decided not to seek medical attention things could have taken a turn for the worst.

Recently, Ellen DeGeneres Talks About Rough Childhood in the Good Housekeeping October 2011 issue and discusses her closeness with her mother. DeGeneres also talked with Brad Pitt About Marriage With Angelina Jolie on one of her shows last week. DeGeneres has been extremely busy with her TV hosting career and the tightness she experienced in her chest earlier this week could be the result of stress and working extremely hard.
